The County of Kaua'i fully supports the spirit and intent of ARRA, and we have been fortunate to receive millions of dollars in an effort to stimulate our economy. In January 2010, I attended a meeting with President Obama in Washington D.C., and was pleased to hear that the White House remains fully focused on job creation and revitalizing the economy.
Our departments are working diligently to utilize this funding as expediently as possible. We will keep you apprised of the progress of these projects and others that may receive ARRA funding. As always, we welcome your comments and feedback.
