COVID-19 Testing Available on Kauai

If You Are Sick

If you’re sick with symptoms of COVID-19 or have been identified as a close contact of a positive case, please isolate yourself immediately and call your doctor to schedule a drive-up test.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

If you have any of these symptoms, please do NOT come to the county's walk-in testing center. Instead, make an appointment for a drive-up test.

If You Test Positive

Isolate yourself immediately and notify people who were near you during the past 14 days. If you test positive, don’t wait for the Department of Health to call you.

When the contact tracers call you, please get back to them right away so we can slow the spread of the disease. Help them help us. They are serving our community and they deserve our respect.
