County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Good Friday holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on April 18.

Closures also include the following facilities on April 18:

• all neighborhood centers;
• all refuse transfer stations;
• the Kekaha Landfill;
• Kapa'a baseyard refuse collection;
• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
• Reynold’s Recycling, the Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center; the HI5 Kōloa Redemption Center;
• and
• the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools.

All refuse transfer stations and the landfill will resume operations on Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) in Kīlauea and Kapa‘a will remain open.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on April 21.
