Office of the Mayor accepting proposals for FY 2023-2024 grants

LĪHUʻE – The County of Kaua‘i Office of the Mayor is accepting proposals from non-profit organizations for its FY 2023-2024 grants-in-aid program.

The intent of this grant program is to support projects and activities that meet a distinctive cultural, social, or economic need for which adequate federal or state funding cannot be secured. Proposals submitted shall be reviewed and considered for the funding of projects or program budgets for the applicant.

To apply, visit www.kauai.gov/mayor and click on “COK24 Grant-in-Aid.”

Proposals must be received on or before 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. This deadline is not a postmarked date. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned to the applicant.

Eligible nonprofit organizations can apply for varying amounts up to $10,000 of funding.

Applicants will be notified of funding on or around August 15. The project funding period will be September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
