Water conservation request continues for residents in Hanalei and

HANALEI AND ʻANINI – Water conservation measures remain in place for residents on Kauaiʻs north shore. Department of Water (DOW) customers in the Hanalei community and ʻAnini Beach areas are asked to continue conserving water due to a mechanical failure on the water system’s pump station that occurred back on April 4, 2025, which impacted the systemʻs water storage supply.

Full-scale, Multi-Agency Search And Rescue Exercise set for April 30

HANAPĒPĒ – In partnership with the United States Coast Guard, the County of Kaua‘i will participate in a full-scale, Multi-Agency Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) at the Port Allen Small Boat Harbor and the surrounding waters offshore in Hanapēpē on April 30, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wastewater Spill Notice: Wailua Coco Palms Sewer Pump Station

WAILUA – The public is advised of a wastewater spill of about 6,000 gallons that occurred at the Wailua Coco Palms Sewer Pump Station between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. today, April 23.
