The Kauaʻi Sea Level Rise Constraint District Viewer is an online atlas generated by data used in the creation of the Hawaiʻi Sea Level Rise Vulnerability and Adaptation Report. The viewer provides visualizations depicting projections of future annual high wave run up and passive flooding hazards due to rising sea levels. High wave run up and/or passive flooding depths within the respective building footprint can be obtained from the Viewer to inform the elevation design standards outlined in the proposed ordinance

The Planning Department has developed a report generation tool to assist efforts to understand what areas are within the Constraint District boundaries. The County of Kauaʻi Sea Level Rise Constraint District Reporting Tool will allow applicants the ability to select a location of interest and print a report to help determine the following: 1) whether a proposed structure lies within and is subject to the provisions of the Constraint Sea Level Rise District; and 2) the maximum flood depth that a proposed structure is exposed to. Once you navigate to an area of interest please print the webpage (Ctrl + P for Windows, Command + P for Apple) and save it as a PDF or print it out.
