6/17/24, KOLOA – The water conservation notice for Department of Water (DOW) customers in Omao-Koloa remains in place until further notice.  Customers are advised to limit water use to essential needs only in order to maintain water service as DOW personnel conduct repairs to the system’s pump station.

DOW continues to monitor water system facilities to ensure storage tank levels are sufficient for normal operations, especially during peak service hours. Conservation efforts by customers help to minimize excessive demand on the water system while the pump station is offline.

DOW thanks Omao-Koloa customers for their continued cooperation and conservation efforts.

An update will be provided when the conservation notice is lifted. To monitor water service announcements online, visit www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW or view DOW news releases at www.kauai.gov/press-releases.
