LĪHU‘E – The Department of Finance Real Property Assessment office reminds the public that the deadline for filing new Agricultural Dedication Petitions is July 1 to be considered for the upcoming 2025 Assessment.
This program provides a Real Property tax incentive in exchange for a 5-year commitment to commercial farming.
For more information, visit www.kauaipropertytax.com and click on the “Forms & Information” tab, where you will find the form “Petition to Dedicate Agricultural Land to Commercial Farming.”
Petition forms may also be submitted via the County-wide Land Information Management System (LIMS). Online submissions can be accessed at Connect.Kauai.gov.
