County announces holiday closures

LĪHU‘E – In observance of Independence Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4.

Officials also announce the following holiday closures:   

  • All refuse transfer stations;
  • The Kekaha Landfill;
  • All neighborhood centers;
  • The Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools;
  • All HI5 redemption centers; and
  • The Kaua‘i Resource Center (composting bins, batteries, fluorescent lights, reuse).

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Friday, July 5.
