Aug. 14 UPDATE: Road resurfacing work on Oka Street rescheduled Aug. 19 to Aug. 23

The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders are announcing that portions of Oka Street, from Kilauea Road to the Oka Street cul-de-sac, will be closed Aug. 19 to Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

KĪLAUEA – The Department of Public Works and its contractor Maui Kupono Builders are announcing that portions of Oka Street, from Kilauea Road to the Oka Street cul-de-sac, will be closed July 31 to Aug. 2, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The full road closure is necessary for road resurfacing work.

Access will be provided for residents in the area.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.  Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
