K-PAL hosts grand opening for new facilities in Līhu‘e

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Activities League (K-PAL) is thrilled to invite the community to celebrate the grand opening of its new facilities in Līhu‘e.

The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Philippine Cultural Center located at 4475f Nuhou St in Līhu‘e. The grand opening will feature a blessing of the new facilities and offer attendees a chance to tour the newly renovated boxing and wrestling gym. Families will also have the opportunity to meet K-PAL’s dedicated coaches and explore a variety of programs designed to empower the next generation.

K-PAL is committed to fostering positive youth development through sports, mentorship, and educational initiatives. With strong partnerships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations, K-PAL plays a crucial role in shaping capable and confident young individuals. Last year, over 1,100 youth participated in K-PAL’s flag football, boxing, jiu jitsu, and wrestling programs.

K-PAL is dedicated to providing an atmosphere that motivates youth to lead drug-free lives and help them reach their full potential by providing positive activities, mentorship and most importantly, fun.
