KPD Records window holiday hours for Independence Day

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department’s Records services and firearms registration will have modified hours of operation in observance of Independence Day.

During weeks with state and county holidays, please anticipate modified hours of operation.

In the first week of July, the Records window will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Morning hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and afternoon hours are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Firearms registration services will also be available on these days, with morning hours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and afternoon hours from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Records window will be closed on Thursday, Jul. 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Normal hours of operation will resume on Jul. 8 and can be found at https://www.kauai.gov/Government/Departments-Agencies/Police-Department/Records-Section.
