LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department will host the third annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, June 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event is free and will be held at the Vidinha Stadium in Līhu‘e.

Touch-A-Truck is a community wide event where both kids and kids at heart can see, touch and learn about vehicles of all types. Discover and explore a variety of vehicles including a fire engine, a sanitation truck, a dump truck, a police car and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the unique functions of each vehicle and get to meet the people who operate them.

General parking will be provided on the northern side of the Vidinha Stadium parking lot, while the southern end will be blocked off for the vehicles on display.

Come be a part of the fun and get to know the individuals who are dedicated to supporting the community. Don’t forget to pack water, snacks and sunscreen for a fun-filled morning.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation for this event due to a disability, contact Acting Lieutenant Matthew Tavares at (808) 241- 1647. Requests made as early as possible will allow adequate time to fulfill your request. Upon request, this notice is available in alternate formats such as large print, Braille, or electronic copy.
