KPD investigates burglary at Macy’s Department Store

LĪHUʻE – The Kaua‘i Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Macy’s Department Store early Monday morning.

On Jan. 22 at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers were dispatched for a glass break alarm at Macy’s Department Store in Kukui Grove Shopping Center.

Upon arrival, officers found that the west entrance doors and multiple jewelry display cases were shattered. No injuries were reported.

According to preliminary reports, over approximately $20,000 of jewelry was reported as stolen.
