KPD records and firearms window hours to change in July

LĪHU‘E – Walk-up service for the Kaua‘i Police Department records and firearms window will have alternate hours for the month due to a staffing shortage.

Beginning on July 3, Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays the window will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesdays the window will be open 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. On July 7, the window will be open 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and every Friday after will be closed. Voice messages left through the general line will be returned in the order received, and online records requests will be serviced when the records and firearms office reopens.
