LĀWA‘I – The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kupono Builders, are announcing a one-lane closure for portions of Kua Road in Lāwa‘i on Oct. 17 to Nov. 1, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for road resurfacing work. Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closure and are advised that machinery and commercial vehicles will be in the work area.
Please make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
