Police apprehend suspect involved in Anahola firearm incident

LĪHUʻE – Police have arrested a 42-year-old man of Hanalei in connection with a firearm incident that occurred on Tuesday, Jun. 11.

On Monday, Jun. 17, police apprehended Robert Brownell for allegedly discharging a firearm in a residential area in Anahola on Tuesday, Jun. 11, at approximately 6:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Brownell was arrested for the offense of Reckless Endangering and Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree. Brownell exercised his right to post the $100,000 bail and was released pending court proceedings.
