Suspect arrested in Kapa‘a burglary investigation

LĪHUʻE – A 28-year-old man from Hanamā‘ulu was arrested in connection with multiple burglaries in the Kapa‘a area.

Charles Aban, a 28-year-old resident of Hanamā‘ulu, was taken into custody on Tuesday, Oct. 8, for his involvement in the burglary of Kapa‘a Big Save. Aban was also sought on a $10,000 warrant in connection with two other burglaries in the Kapa‘a area.

He is currently being held at the Kaua‘i Community Correctional Center with bail set at $60,000.

The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities believe Aban may be connected to other burglaries and are urging the public to come forward with any information they may have.
