Suspect arrested in connection with assault case

LĪHU‘E – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an assault that occurred Thursday morning.

On Friday, Jun. 7, police arrested Chance Olanolan, a 27-year-old man of Hā‘ena in connection with an assault that occurred on Lumaha‘i Bridge on Thursday, Jun. 6.

Olanolan was arrested for the offense of Assault in the First Degree. He was released after posting the $25,000 bail on Sunday, Jun. 9.

The victim was medevacked to the Queen’s Medical Center on O‘ahu and remains in critical condition.
