WAIMEA – The Department of Parks and Recreation (DOPR) is announcing that the Waimea Swimming Pool will be closed on May 29.
This closure is necessary for the Waimea High School Career Day. Personnel with the Ocean Safety Bureau will utilize the pool for safety drills and demonstrations.
The pool will reopen on May 30.
