KEKAHA – The Department of Water (DOW) announces a water service shutdown on Koae Road scheduled for Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., weather permitting to conduct hydrant and service lateral replacement and install a new hydrant valve in the service area.
Customers located on Koae Road are advised to prepare for the temporary water service shutdown by taking the following steps:
• Store water to meet your needs until water service can be safely restored.
• Notify neighbors, family and friends of the water service shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure their water heaters do not empty during the shutdown.
• Monitor water service updates online at www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW.
