Water service shutdown for a portion of Aliomanu Rd and Kukuna Rd

ANAHOLA – The Department of Water (DOW) announces a scheduled water service shutdown on a portion of Aliomanu Road and Kukuna Road on June 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.   

This water service shutdown is necessary for the County of Kauai and contractor Earthworks Pacific, Inc., to perform road repair work. 

To prepare for the service shutdown, customers are advised to take the following steps: 

• Store water to meet your needs until service can be restored.
• Notify neighbors, family and friends of the service shutdown.
• Those with faulty water heaters should ensure that their water heaters do not empty.
• Monitor water service updates online at www.facebook.com/KauaiDOW.
